"Pea-Mutt Butter" Dog Biscuits
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons corn oil
1/2 cup peanut butter
1
cup water
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 cups white flour
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine oil, peanut butter, and water.
Mix until peanut butter is throughly blended
Add flour, one cup at a time, mix/knead into firm dough.
Roll dough to 1/4" thickness and cut with cookie cutter.
Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes. Bottom of cookie should be a golden brown.
Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
Pumpkin Poochies
Ingredients:
2
cups white flour
1 cup wheat flour
1 large can of pure pumpkin (plain w/no sugar or spices)
1/2 cup water
2 TBL
corn oil
Pre-heat over to 300 degrees
mix water, corn oil and pumpkin
add flour 1 cup at a time and mix/knead
into a dough
roll out about 1/4" thick and cut into shapes, or roll into little 'balls'
place in ungreased cookie sheet
bake 30 minutes at 300 degrees, increase baking time to 35-40 minutes if you
rolled to dough into "balls". Bottom of cookie should be golden brown.
Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
